From the beginning

I am just now starting to get into blogging but I am SO excited about it!

Just a brief overview of my life as a stay at home mom. I am Amy and I turned 24 in January. I am the mother of 3 handsome boys and a wife to my husband Morgan of 3 years. I wanted to let you know a little bit about how things have been since I moved to Conway.

I used to live in a small town called Prairie Grove. I lived there for almost 16 years. I graduated High School from there in May of 2003. I have been raised in church my whole life! My dad is now a pastor, my mom's dad is pastor and one of my mom's brothers is an associate pastor. So, needless to say I have been brought up very well. During my senior year my dad moved to Vilonia to become their pastor, which left my mom and I still in Prairie Grove. I graduated in May and then in August we moved down here with him. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail because I don't have enough time or enough room to write everything, all I'm going to say is this... when you are brought up the right way and you know what is right and what is wrong, don't let Satin tell you that it's ok to do something you know is wrong because no one will catch you. Well, I am living proof that no one has to personally catch you because God is the one that matters and he is the one that we will have to answer to. So, needless to say, I became SO angry for many different reasons. And for that Satin saw a prime oppertunity to get to me. I now have Coleton as a result of that mistake. Along, with me having him before marriage, Coleton was born with a defect call gastrocesis. This is where his intestines are outside of the body. He weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces. He went directly from UAMS where I had him to Little Rock Childrens Hospital. He stayed there from January 9th, 2005 to February 3rd. It was something that I had never seen before and was very hard for me to look at. For awhile I blamed myself for what happened to Coleton, but the more I prayed and sought for God to comfort me and give me peace of mind the more I realized that this was nothing that I could have done different or to stop him from having this condition. The doctors and nurses in NICU there at Childrens are amazing and I thank them for everything that they did. So,now as I look back I think that going through something like that with Coleton has made me A LOT stronger of person now. I thank my ENTIRE family for sticking by me even when it wasn't easy. Now, after it's been 4 years I thank God for being a forgiving, loving, merciful, and power GOD!!

I LOVE being a stay at home mom!! My boys keep me very, very busy, but on some days I substitute teach at the school when they need me! I would have NEVER dreamed 4 years ago, that I would now be the mother of 3 HEALTHY, HANDSOME boys!!!

Here are pictures of my boys now. I will post pictures of Coleton as a baby soon!! Just remember no matter what you are going through "WHEN YOU CALL ON JESUS ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE"!!!

This is Braxton Gene!! He will be 10 months old on February 21st!
